Seating Charts

Right now the big debate is to have a seating chart or not at our wedding reception.. I have heard to make one to make sure every one has a place to sit, I've been told not to so you don't force someone to sit somewhere..  Well with weddings under 50 people and a buffet dinner.. you def don't need a seating chart.. Well that is not even close to ours.. We are looking at 150 people.. and a plated dinner.. Make sure you plan accordingly:

1. Start Early: Do not wait until the night before the wedding to plan who is sitting where.
2. Create a spreadsheet. Categorize who is coming. Brides family. Grooms family. Grooms friends. Brides friends. Work buddies.
3. Make a paper trail. Draw circles on sheets of paper and write out who is sitting where.
4. The head table. Decide whether to have a sweet heart table or a long buffet table for the whole wedding party. Usually excluding the ring bearer and flower girl (they sit with their parents)
5. OR switch it up. Put all the bridesmaids next to the bride at the buffet table and groomsmen next to the groom. OR do something unique. Bride and groom sit with parents. Wedding party all together at a table.

Wedding Planning Tuesday

We met with the wonderful wedding coordinater today. Everything is finally starting to come together! Im super excited! We are figured out about how many tables we are going to have, maybe some centerpiece ideas, and linens. Wowwwwiiee. I did not realize how much it cost to rent linens. These krazii people want $5.00 per chair cover to RENT them. I mean seriously!!

Tommorow, mom and I are going to meet with a potential flourist.  Wish me luck :)

Weekend Recap

My Bestie and I went to the beach this weekend and brought little Harley with us.  I plan on taking both of my babies next weekend.  Harley loved.  My other two friends brought their puppy, who is much bigger than Harley.  He took of running and playing the surf, Harley followed and their goes the waves over her head and having to swim back to me. lol.

 I can't wait until next weekend and we go back to the beach. Sunshine here I come. Maybe I can actually get a tan this year. :)

Friday Confessional

I confess.. I am so not in shape. I am buying me a zumba dvd to do at home everyday. The only gym that offers zumba here, you have to buy a year membership to join! Bleh!

I confess.. I have been slackin on scheduling our engagment pictures. Well I have finally scheduled them for April 23rd!

I confess.. I haven't really left the house too much since I quit working. My MOH comes over all the time but we never go anywhere. So finally last night. We had a ladies night.

I confess.. I have also finally booked my make up artist for the wedding.

I confess.. We still don't know where we are going on our honeymoon :/

A Great Way To Spend A Sunday

Put on my apron, made some sangria, and started some baking early this morning.

I made these yummy peanut butter cookies. 

Momma bought me this Cooke Swap book for Christmas, I finally tryed this recipe out of it.  I think we might do a cookie swap this year with somes friends and maybe an open house.  Then...

My Bridesmaid, Jessica came over with her fiance David, along with Chris's dad.  Jessica helped me with wedding planning. I have realized I have a lot done, but so much to do.  I need to get on the ball!  We had some sangria and beer.. and then..

My babes had a long day..

Confessional Friday

I confess.. I have worked my butt off this week.. We have got new carpet, so I've redone my bed room and working on the guest bedroom/my sewing room.

So my bed is small.. super small now.. but has a more homey cozey feel to it :)

I confess.. My baby Harley ate a lil paint while I was painting my bedroom. But She is A-OK! :)

I confess.. I have the best daddy in the world.. He is the one putting the carpet in my house!

I confess.. I am super happy my mom is in remission with her lymphoma..

I confess.. Today.. April Fools Day.. Today is 2 years my grandma passed away. Love and Miss you.
