Jacksonville Zoo

We had our first trip to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens this past January.  I think I had more fun than Chloe did, lol, but Im glad we went!

So Lets Play Catch Up!

Miss Chloe Dean is almost 7 months old.  In 2 Days! That just seems so unreal to me.  It doesn’t seem like I was in the hospital with her 7 months ago, or that I have been taking care of my little turkey for 7 months now. That’s crazy! Where in the world does the time go?!

Someone once told me, the older you get, the faster time seems to go.. Well I definitely believe it now! So lets recap!

4 Months Old – Doesn’t like strangers or being a huge group of people.  Gets overwhelmed by people pretty easily.  Eating 1 – 2 meals a day and still at 6 bottles a day.  Found our toes!

5 Months Old – giggling like crazy at mommy and daddy.  Saying Mamamama constantly.  Eating 2 meals a day and 5 bottles a day. 

6 Months old – Sitting up on our own for super long amounts of time without falling over or being wobbly.  Eating 3 meals a day and having 3 bottles a day.  Our favorite foods are bananas and applesauce.  Going to bed at 8:30 – 9 pm each night and sleeping until around 7 – 8 am the next day.  Crawling backwards and up and hands and knees.

This month – Likes hitting toys into other things to make noise.  Shakes rattle.  Gets really mad when she gets stuck in a corner from rolling and “forgets” how to roll back the other way.  Screams the second mommy is out of her signt and smiles whens I come back into sight.

3 Months and 4 Months

3 Months Old - October 18th

Found our fingers, like to suck on them a lot.  Miss Chloe got her ears pierced 10/20. Started gripping and playing with toys.  Kicks and moves hands to music.  

4 Months - November 18th

When she wakes up in the morning, and if you don't hear her when she is ready, she will scream.. But as soon as your walk in the room and say Hi Hunny she gives you the biggest smile ever.  It really warms my heart.  She is giggling like crazy.  Loves to watch herself in the mirror.  Rolled over the day after she turned 4 months old.  Mommy did NOT get to see it.  She is sitting up with a little bit of help.  If she holds onto my fingers, she can sit up.  Moved to our new home in Saint Augustine FL.  Her favorite movies are the Little Mermaid and Aladin.

Papa Todds Birthday

We celebrated my dads birthday the other night with him.  Baby Chloe got him her first card.  We had to scratch out the word Grand and just leave PA and he hates being called Grandpa.  Says it makes him feel old.  My dad was in the middle of his 4 day work week of 12 hours a day so we didn’t/weren’t able to do much for him as he has to get up at 4am for work.  So we took him dinner from Sonnys BBQ and this Cream Cheese Chocolate Cake. +

Miss Chloe has started to smile and finally really recognize mommy.  Right off she knew her daddy.  She would open her eyes as soon and she heard his voice.  But now she is cooing and reacting to me.  She has also found out she loves to watch herself in the mirror.  she will sit the and "talk" to herself. It is so sweet.  It is just the sweetest thing in the world to watch you child grow and learn..

Miss chloe has also now been sleeping THROUGH THE NIGHT FOR 8 WEEKS!  She started sleeping through the night at 2 weeks old.  We have kept her on a routine.  This was the trick with us.  She usually sleeps about 7 hours each night on average.  The other night she slept for 9 hours.  I have to say, we are very lucky +
