Marley Lilly

Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE Marley Lilly products?  I will admit, they do take a little long to get the items out of processing and to you but they are worth the wait.  It probably isn't a long time (1.5 weeks) to most people,  I just get antsy when I order stuff offline.  But anywho, I just love there stuff.  Anything monogramed = LOVE.

F is for Flanders

This is one of my newest designs for pillows.  I designed this one myself and love how it turned out. Cute and simple.  Instead of making this one into a pillow, I decided to frame it and hang it on my wall in my dining room.  I am offering these personalized on Etsy for $4 for a panel plus shipping.  A panel can be framed as shown, or made into a pillow for decor purposes.

Saw it Pinned It Did It

Chicken Green Beans and Potatoes

Spray bottom of pan with oil so it does not stick.  I used 5 raw tenderloins, 3 small potatoes, and 2 cans of green beans, and 1/2 stick butter.  I cut the butter into pieces and placed throughout mixture of chicken, green beans, and potatoes.

Sprinkle with 1/2 packet of italian seasoning.

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Super yummy.  Next time I make this I will pre cook the potatoes in the microwave until they are about 1/2 of the way done then cook altogether for around 30-45 minutes.

Smokey Mountains

We are vacationing this week in the Smokey Mountains with some of my inlaws.  It was a great chance for a short getaway before baby Chloe gets here.  We def needed a break for reality for a couple of days.

It doesn't hurt waking up and sitting outside with this view either.  Its gorgeous in the mornings here.

Although I am missing these pretty girls and I am ready to get home to them this weekend.

Saw It.. Did It... Pinned It..

My version of the pin.

They turned out okay.  I need a different color and more time to do them and they would have looked more so like the pin did.

Easter

We ate dinner with my parents this Easter and my "adopted" grandparents.
-Spiral ham
-sweet potato casserole
-mashed potatoes
-asparagus
-broccoli
-rolls

I made this cake for Easter.  The cake was super yummy, but eating it with all the jelly beans and kit kats was a bit much, sweets wise.  It was super easy to make too!

Gender Reveal Party

Back on March 9th we had our Gender Reveal Party to announce the gender of our sweet baby girl.

The greatest friends I could ask for.  Alison, on the left, we met a couple years ago and have been pretty close ever since.  She has a sweet little boy who is going to be just a year older then Chloe will be.  Can you say Future boyfriend/girlfriends? ;)

Taylor, on the right, we met through blogging about a year ago when she moved down here.  She is such a sweet girl.  She helped me plan this entire party. I couldn't have done it without her help.

My sweet sister in law and I.  The best sister I could seriously ask for.  We have became much closer over the past few months and I love it!  She came over the other night and helped her brother, my husband, paint the nursery :)

Taylor and I.  You might recognize her from The Presuttis Blog.  Taylor made the cake for our party and did such an amazing job!

My Sweet daddy.  He was sporting the pink and blue for the day.  Team Pink & Team Blue!

We set up a black dry erase board for everyone write down there guesses of girl or boy.  We chose the names Roman for a boy and Chloe for a girl.  Each person was the write there name underneath their guess of the gender.  Im so glad we did this.  I loved seeing who guessed what!

The Old Wives Tales Predictions!

20 Week Sonogram Picture

Mom and I made these mustaches and bows for everyone to wear at the party to show their guess of the Team Pink or Team Blue!

All of the yummy food.

Pink & Blue Lemonade, Wine and Sweet tea.  Pink & Blue paper straws.

I absolutely loved our cake.  Super yummy.

We also had publix make cup cakes for the party for all of the guests.  We did the cake so that we could have something to cut into for the reveal.  The cupcakes also had a pink butter cream filling.

Our set up outside for everyone to sit, eat, and drink.
