Nursery Sneak Peak

Sneak peak of the nursery for baby Chloe. We still have a lot to do, but we have a great start.

Still need to find a crib ruffle (skirt).. They are super difficult to find!

I love this cubical organizer. I placed hairs bows/bands, and hats in the top basket, socks and shoes in the left drawer, a few toys in the right drawer, and misc stuff like first aid kit, etc in the bottom drawer.

The basket is holding her baby blankets right.  The light will eventually go on a night stand next to the glider.  I'm in love with this dresser. I so happy we bought this one. It is super sturdy.

My hubby is finishing the drywall and painting everything this week after he gets off work, so Im def in the planning stages of Chloes' nursery.  I'm loving all of these Pinterest.  

Love the dresser with the changing pad on top of it. No need for a separate changing table when it doesn't always get used.

I LOVE everything everything about this picture. Baby on the cloth toy chest.  The name.  The white furniture. The rocker. The rug.

I want do have a organizational system for her closet.

I'm gettings so many ideas from Pinterest. I LOVE it.  We have picked out the crib and dresser so far, haven't found a rocker or night stand yet though.  I can't wait to get started on this project. :)

When we first moved into our house, it had only 2 bedrooms. My grandparents owned this house before us and knocked out a wall between the 2nd and 3rd bedroom and made one large one out of it.  Since we are know expecting a little bundle of joy we are placing a wall back into the room to make the babies room, a workout room and then on the other side of the house I am going to have my office/work space.  It wont be very large but I would love to make it my own and all cutesy of course!  I love more of the simple look.  Not many knick-knacks just simple to the point with items I will use.  

This is my absolute favorite one.  Grey walls with an accent of black and pink.

Kitchen Renovations

We had new cabinets and counter top delivered about a month ago.  My house was an absolute disaster for about a week.  Boxes stacked everywhere. Dust everywhere. Clutter everywhere!

We started tearing out all the cabinets on a Saturday morning. Please ignore my super gross old stove over there.  We had everything torn out, sanded down, dad put in electrical outlets, and painted by Monday morning for my hubs' uncle to come put in our new kitchen!

See that dishwasher right there.. Yeah.. I've never used or had one until now.. I refuse to ever live without one again.

Bottom line.. I LOVE my new kitchen and appliances. I cannot get enough of them.  Everything was completed by Friday afternoon and everything was cleaned up the following week, so I had my clutter dust free house back in order. 



It's Finally Christmas Time

I just LOVE Christmas time. Decorating. Baking. Family. Everyone is so cheery.

Fence Fire

Well I don't have a before picture. But this is the after.  This used to be a brown privacy fence and my neighbors had a chain link fence on the other side.  At abut 2 or 3 pm yesterday I was in my back bed room working on these orders I need to get out soon.  Well, my dog start barking all crazy like they do when someone is normally next door. This house, supposedly the back owns, no one lives there.  I looked all around out front because of their barking, didn't see anyone anywhere. No one in there yards, so I assumed my dogs were barking at nothing.  But it sounded like someone was in a neighboring yard by how they were barking. (If you have animals or dogs, you probably know what I mean).  5-10 mins later they came back inside and layed down, so I assumed nothing was wrong.  About 5:30, Im on the phone with my mom, calls fails won't dial back out, but this is my AT&T cell phone.  My internet won't work either. I reset the router, and my computers, still won't work.  Lets say I am super lucky I have a house phone. The only reason I have one is  bc the phone company makes me have it since I have internet.  I walk into the dining room and kitchen, I see smoke. So I immediately start flipping out.  I look, my whole rich hand side fence is on fire. I mean flames were up about 2 feet off the fence. Im not exaggerating either.  So I called the fire dept, they come and save the day. But they told me the fire is from OLD charcoal.  Im not so sure I believe this. The last time I dumped charcoal was over a week ago.  How can charcoal stay "hot" this long to spark a fire? I think someone either started it or since there is fires everywhere around us, maybe it was ashes etc from another fire.  But it is still scary no matter to not know how it started, to just look out your window and see your fence in flames.  The worst part is.. If I would work everyday 8 to 530 like I used to at Beck, I would not have caught the fire when I did.  The damage would have been A LOT worse. 

The House

I am wanting to RE DO my house.  I feel like it is so blah right now. Plain white walls.  Some white curtains.  Beige and brown furniture. 

My camera screwed up when we took this picture.. I've never posted this picture because it is like this, but this was kind of like my 2nd or 3rd Girls Night Out. Last Night Out before our wedding. But as you can see.. White walls.. White curtains.. The beige couch.. It all just kind of blends in together. I think i just need to repaint. What do you think?

Putting the Boys to Work This Weekend

I put Chris and his friend to work moving my living room and pool table around. Switched the rooms they were in.  I got tired of walking in my front door and looking at a pool table.  Our home has a much more "homey" feel to it now. I love it.
