Have I ever mentioned how much I do not like living in Florida sometimes? If I was to go upstate 3 hours to Georgia, I could be wearing all of these super cute outfits.  But any whooo. All I love all of these outfits. Super cute for fall!

We are taking a honeymoon in two weeks, hopefully it should be colder there. As long as it is 80 degrees there I will be oh so happy! Happy Tuesday Ladies

The Reunion

Let me fill you in on my eventful weekend.. I reconsidered who my moh was and now I have a new one. Yes that sounds bitchy, but it's not. If you moh isn't doing her job and trying to be your friend, kick her to the curb. Yep, I did it.  Three weeks before my wedding!

So we took a drive to Georgia this past Monday.  I drove 3.5 hrs there and 3.5 hrs home all in one day. I was dead from driving. But it was well worth it.  I wanted to ask this girl from the begining but we didn't know where she was going to be this time of year.  Luckily she is here.  So, my MOH Celena Jem.

We took her dress shopping Monday while we were their in Geogia.  Found the perfect dress too. We didn't have many to choose from but we love the one we found. I really wish we could have chosen this one for all of the girls.

Friday Confessional

I confess.. I was a little bit pissy over Chris's Bachelor Cruise Shirts at first..

I confess.. I am acctually looking forward to my relaxing weekend while Chris is on his cruise.

I confess.. tommorow I plan on doing a little shopping with mama.

I confess.. Saturday I plan on watching the game with my future sissy in law. Watching those Gators chomp on Tennessee.. ;)

I confess.. I am still not used to staying along yet. It bothers me. Tonight I'm not so bad. But usually if I hear the house 'creak' I will flip out. But I'm proud of myself, tonight I am doing pretty dang good.

I confess.. Planning a wedding can be the most funnest best thing ever. But on the other hand, I am ready to strangle some people.

The minor details every bride forgets

Whether you are just newly engaged or fixing to be married. This post is for you, the bride. These are things that all of us brides forget. The smaller details.
1. Your bridal hanger.  You pay all this money for a photographer, and they will take a picture of your dress on its hanger.  Make sure you have a cute one!

2. Tell your family about your reserved seating. Immediate family only. But if you have flowers on the reserved pews, make sure they know it's for them. Otherwise they may not sit where you want them to.

3. Bring extra cash along. You never know when you will need to tip someone. From your hair dresser, bell hop, bartender, etc.

4. Decide your honeymoon destination early on.  If you are leaving the country, make sure you have plenty of time to get your passport back.

5.If your not shy, say a thank you speech.  Thank your parents for helping you with the wedding, to your bridal party for supporting you.

6. Assign someone to keep an eye on your gift table.  Also assign your maid of honor or mom to collect all your gifts and take them home for you.  The bride and groom do not need more stress than they already have.

7. Emergency day of kit. Extra bobby pins, tissues, sewing kit, thread, girly items, deodorant.

8. Have someone make you and your bridemaids a snack plate.  No one is going to have time to run out and get food for everyone before the ceremony. Their will be way to many things taking place.

9. Bridal Party gifts. A must.  Shows your appreiciation. :)

10. Don't forget your toasting set and serving set.

11. Something new, Something old, Something borrowed, Something blue.

12. Create an itenary for your bridal party, and relatives.  Time of pictures before the ceremony, after, etc.

The Weekend of Weddings

This weekend I have gone a bagillion miles an hour it seems like. I just have not stopped. First, I had a show in Jacksonville. I set up Friday, then Saturday and Sunday was the show. How did I do you ask? Great! I did great! And yes I dressed like a bum Sunday for the show. I was so tired from only getting 4 hours of sleep I just did not care when I was getting ready to go!

This weeknd surely has been the weekend for weddings.  Saturday, my friends got married. It was beautiful! They have the sweetest little girl who will be the flower girl for my wedding.

The wonderful couple and their first dance.

The beautiful bride and I. I didn't get a picture with her in her wedding gown. Just her going away dress.

Fiance and I

My long lost best friend. Gee how I have missed this girl

Wedding #2. My best friend Christina just got married tonight. They had a small, quiet family wedding. They had the best cake.  Black Forest Cake. Umm Delicious!

The Bride and Groom.  I can't believe it.  She is moving to Kansas like right after my wedding in October. I'm going to miss her so much, but I wish her the best :) Check her blog out here

Advice

I was thinking.. and thinking.. I love to do wedding posts.  So I just had my Bridal Shower, so what better than Bridal Shower Advice. This is NOT a ranting and raving post either. Just some friendly advice.
Always attend showers when your invited and able to. Hey they might return the favor one day and come to yours.
If you are invited, RSVP if asked.
If you are invited, send a gift even if you do not attend.  The bride did invite you because she wants you there!
Brides.. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS send out thank you notes. It is super rude not to.  I cannot tell you how many time this summer I have given gifts to people at showers and weddings and never heard a thank you.  Thank you’s make people feel appreciated.
Also, MOH’s who are planning the showers, ask the bride what she wants.  Games, Food, Etc.  I had a drop in shower and it was great. No Games. People hate playing them anyways.
Have unique party favors as thank you’s for  attending.
Yes it can be very awkward sitting in front of all your future relatives, smiling, opening gifts, pretending to love every one of them.  Sit back have a glass wine and enjoy the day. Wine will ease the awkward moments.

Ladies, I hope this isn’t too harsh. But this is all true.  J
