DIY Pillows: Saw It Pinned It Did It

I just made these to go on our bed and I just fell in love with them!  

I printed the images on the fabric by running in through my HP printer.  Then I cut out a backing, I just used the same color as the front.  Sewed them together while inside out (wrong sides together). Turned them and then stuffed them with some super soft polyfil. 

Same instructions as the Mr. & Mrs. pillows. I just used a light pink polka dot as backing instead of the white.

Super cute and easy to make!

I bought some nursery prints from Joanns the past couple of days to make some pillows.  Im usuing the Minky Pink and Grey Polka dot for another "thing" in the nursery, so you will get details of that one later ;)  I used the elephant prints to make two 16"x16" pillows to go in the rocker/glider.

I LOVE making new pillows for my home. I actually saw these on Pinterest and decided to make my own and sell them.

I made these and put these on our bed.  I LOVE them!

I've been trying my hand at making these oh so well known pillow case dresses.  I love this one that I just made. Monogramed with a C for our baby girl Chloe.

This was my first try at making one.. I got the basics down on this one atleast. Wasnt nearly as cute as the other one.

How Pinteresting

Needless to say I cannot wait until I can wear normal clothes again.  Somedays I seriously don't even want to leave the house, because I cannot dress cute anymore. lol.  I dont want to go out and buy a ton of maternity clothes (super $$) and then not need them within 8 weeks, after baby Chloe gets here.

These are super inspiring outfits I cannot wait to start wearing :)

Chicken Green Beans and Potatoes

Spray bottom of pan with oil so it does not stick.  I used 5 raw tenderloins, 3 small potatoes, and 2 cans of green beans, and 1/2 stick butter.  I cut the butter into pieces and placed throughout mixture of chicken, green beans, and potatoes.

Sprinkle with 1/2 packet of italian seasoning.

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Super yummy.  Next time I make this I will pre cook the potatoes in the microwave until they are about 1/2 of the way done then cook altogether for around 30-45 minutes.

supplies:

small amount of hot water

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tbsp dawn dish soap

swirl make up brushes in mixture and then rinse in cold water.

lay flat to dry 

Pinterest Inspiration

When we first moved into our house, it had only 2 bedrooms. My grandparents owned this house before us and knocked out a wall between the 2nd and 3rd bedroom and made one large one out of it.  Since we are know expecting a little bundle of joy we are placing a wall back into the room to make the babies room, a workout room and then on the other side of the house I am going to have my office/work space.  It wont be very large but I would love to make it my own and all cutesy of course!  I love more of the simple look.  Not many knick-knacks just simple to the point with items I will use.  

This is my absolute favorite one.  Grey walls with an accent of black and pink.
