That's me 22 years ago today. Happy Birthday to me. It has been a wonderful 22 years so far, and so many more to go. Thanks for bringing me into this world Momma and Daddy. Love you :)

Lady A Concert

The girls and I went to this great concert back in May. Lady A, Thompson Square, and Darius Rucker. I totally forgot to check my camera before I left, so my batteries died half way though Darius Rucker performing so I don't have any pics of Lady A, Which sucks. But the concert was great and we had really good seats :)

Blogging Funk

Have you ever gotten into a blogging funk? Well I have.. For the past month.. I haven't blogged in almost exactly a month.. I started taking two Summer A classes on May 14th, Chemistry and Financial Accounting. Well let me tell you. Do NOT taking Accounting as a summer class. All I do is study for the class.. That is my life.. Then there is my wholesale business, that has totally taking off too. It's crazy (but good) the amount of orders I have to get done.  But, it is sad to say I pretty much FORGOT I had a blog. I logged on here one time week, couldn't figure out one little thing to write. I promise to you ladies, I won't forget again.

Friday Confessional

I confess..  I haven't done a Friday Confessional in a long time.
I confess.. I had the best time at the Lady A, Darius Rucker, and Thompson Square concert last night.
I confess..  My Birthday is in 1 month! I couldn't be more excited.
I confess.. I woke up in a great mood this morning, then realized my husband ate my entire box of cinnabun cereal, ugh. now how I wanted to start my day :(
I confess..  I am excited about going to Mud Muckers Memorial Day weekend. *Mud Muckers is a red neck 11 acre mud hole and trails for 4 wheelers..Yes we all have a red neck side here in my town*
I confess..  Carrie Underwood is coming to Orlando in December on tour.  Im so there!
I confess.. I am so enjoying this week break from classes.  It has been so great!  Back to classes Monday.
I confess..  I am still loving this show Big Bang Theory. I watch it every day.

So I have been MIA lately. Okay. For over 2 weeks now.  No worries! I'm still alive, still here!  This wholesale business of mine and school has taken over my life.  But I do have a 2 week break until school starts back for the summer sessions. Thank goodness!!

Fence Fire

Well I don't have a before picture. But this is the after.  This used to be a brown privacy fence and my neighbors had a chain link fence on the other side.  At abut 2 or 3 pm yesterday I was in my back bed room working on these orders I need to get out soon.  Well, my dog start barking all crazy like they do when someone is normally next door. This house, supposedly the back owns, no one lives there.  I looked all around out front because of their barking, didn't see anyone anywhere. No one in there yards, so I assumed my dogs were barking at nothing.  But it sounded like someone was in a neighboring yard by how they were barking. (If you have animals or dogs, you probably know what I mean).  5-10 mins later they came back inside and layed down, so I assumed nothing was wrong.  About 5:30, Im on the phone with my mom, calls fails won't dial back out, but this is my AT&T cell phone.  My internet won't work either. I reset the router, and my computers, still won't work.  Lets say I am super lucky I have a house phone. The only reason I have one is  bc the phone company makes me have it since I have internet.  I walk into the dining room and kitchen, I see smoke. So I immediately start flipping out.  I look, my whole rich hand side fence is on fire. I mean flames were up about 2 feet off the fence. Im not exaggerating either.  So I called the fire dept, they come and save the day. But they told me the fire is from OLD charcoal.  Im not so sure I believe this. The last time I dumped charcoal was over a week ago.  How can charcoal stay "hot" this long to spark a fire? I think someone either started it or since there is fires everywhere around us, maybe it was ashes etc from another fire.  But it is still scary no matter to not know how it started, to just look out your window and see your fence in flames.  The worst part is.. If I would work everyday 8 to 530 like I used to at Beck, I would not have caught the fire when I did.  The damage would have been A LOT worse.

DIY Monogram

So y'all know how much I just love Pinterest.  I decided to finally make my diy monogram letter for my front door. And I just love how it turned out! It is fairly simple to make. Ive seen pictures of these on pinterest and etsy, but I liked making one instead of buying it.  So all you need a few supplies.  

About 2 rolls of Jute.  You can get these at the dollar store for about $.99 each. 

Your monogramed letter of choice. I got mine at Hobby Lobby for about $1.50.  Some tutorials called for paper mache letters, but I choose to go with the wooden. 

And a hot glue gun. You can get these at Walmart for fairly cheap. 

I just hot glued the beginning of the string before I started wrapping it around the letter down.  I used the hot glue every so often to keep the jute holding on the wood. Even though you are wrapping it pretty tight, you still want to tack it down.  I wrapped the letter two times in jute to make sure I got all of the wooden covered.  

Once you are down wrapped the letter with jute, take some ribbon and make a hanger and cute bow.  Then you are done. I think over all this took me about 2 hours.  

Pinterest Monday

I just love Pinterest and finding all of these DIY Ideas...  I love diy projects. I think they are so much fun.  I am actually planning on doing some of these this week. so hang tight for pics :)

 I plan on making one of these soon.
